Work with me

Four stops. One line. Your kid’s next school.

Every tier is delivered over Zoom, evenings and weekends, with the price right here on the page. Start with the smallest thing that helps. You can always ride further.

Most families hop on in 7th or 8th grade. The door is open earlier and later too: 5th and 6th grade head starts, families new to NYC or coming from non-public schools, and 10th and 11th grade transfers.

Platform Talk

$35 per booking · group Zoom session

Right for you if: you’re just starting to explore and want the lay of the land before investing in 1:1 time.

A guided group session on one season-appropriate topic: what’s coming in 8th grade, navigating the application, getting a 7th grader ready. You send your questions when you register, and I answer as many as I can at the end. It’s a talk with a Q&A, not an open forum, so you never have to speak up or share anything about your family in front of other people.

  • Live group session over Zoom, roughly an hour
  • One booking covers your household on one screen. If another adult wants their own login, just book a second spot
  • Open to every family. Some talks are geared toward 7th grade and some toward 8th, and each session says which when you pick your slot
  • Send your questions at registration, and I build the Q&A from what comes in
  • Held throughout the school year
  • The single cheapest way to hear how I think about this process

Single Ride

$225 · one 60-minute 1:1 session

Right for you if: you have specific questions and want focused answers, fast.

One hour, just your family. Most Single Rides are school-list feedback, SHSAT and Specialized High School admissions questions, program-fit questions, or deadline triage, but the hour is yours, and it’s shaped by your intake form before we ever meet.

  • Bring me your list and we’ll go through it program by program, including what to ask each school directly
  • 60 minutes, 1:1 over Zoom, evenings or weekends
  • Personalized from your intake form, with no time wasted on basics you already know
  • Recap email with your next steps and key dates
  • September through November is the busiest part of the application season

Ride the Line

$599 · three 1:1 sessions across the season

Right for you if: you want a plan and a guide, not just answers to this week’s questions.

Three sessions, spaced across the season to match how the process actually unfolds. A typical arc: build the school list, set the application strategy, and a check-in before deadlines to make sure nothing slips.

  • Three 60-minute 1:1 sessions, scheduled around your season
  • A list we build together, then read together: what the rankings mean for your kid specifically
  • A running plan that carries from session to session
  • Recap and next steps after each meeting
  • Better value than three Single Rides, because commitment should count for something

All Stops

$1,200+ · full-season support

Right for you if: you want someone beside your family from first research to final decision.

The final number of sessions, between-session support, timeline, and total price are confirmed in writing after the free Fit Check.

The whole journey, together: researching schools, building and ranking the list, application strategy, deadline management, and talking through offers when decisions land. You bring the kid; I bring everything I know.

  • Full-season engagement, research through final decisions
  • Sessions plus between-session support as the process moves
  • A school list built using current published admissions information and prior-year demand and seat data, read through an educator’s lens, with the questions to verify with each school
  • When offers land, an honest conversation about which one is genuinely the better fit
  • Deliberately limited each season so every family gets real attention

Navigating an IEP or a 504? Mention it on your intake form. I’m a certified special education teacher with more than fifteen years in NYC classrooms, and it changes what I look for on your list: not just whether a school lists a support, but what to ask in order to understand how it works there. That’s included in every tier, not a separate add-on.

Not sure where to hop on? Start with a Platform Talk. It’s the lowest-commitment way in, and the follow-up email after every session tells you honestly whether more help would actually help.

Every price is on this page. That’s on purpose.

You shouldn’t have to book a call to find out what something costs. Platform Talks and Single Rides book directly. Ride the Line and All Stops begin with a free Fit Check so we can confirm the scope before payment.
